X Factor collapse: 4th Impact's Celina taken in ambulance after fainting

Singer Celina needed assistance standing after the band performed Beyoncé's Work It Out as part of Movie Week.

Before 4th Impact took to the stage, Cheryl informed Olly and Caroline that Celina had fainted before the performance and was taken in an ambulance.

The girls were given the option to have their dress rehearsal footage played instead, but opted to keep the show going.

After an all-singing, all-dancing, hair-flipping spectacle, the sisters all hugged – but they were actually holding up Celina, who had been hit by dizziness.

The judges looked concerned, with Simon Cowell telling Celina to leave the stage; but she stayed after being given a chair and a bottle of water.

Cowell said: "Under the circumstances that was the most incredible performance we have ever seen.

"I was there as this was all happening backstage so I know what you've been through. I hope you're OK, sweetheart."

An X Factor spokesperson said: "Celina fainted earlier before her performance. An ambulance was called and she was checked by a medic who said she was OK to perform.

The girls were given the option to have their rehearsal footage played or to perform as a three, but they choose to perform all together.

"After the performance Celina was checked by a medic again as a precaution."

Despite their universally praised performance, Paddy Power and William Hill have 4th Impact as sixth and fifth favourites respectively, with Louise and Ché dominating bets.
