'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' spoilers: sneak peek airs during 'Gotham' midseason finale

Fittingly, the sneak peek for "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" would first be shown on the midseason finale of "Gotham." With Batman fans tuned in to the "Gotham's" midseason finale, many will surely not miss the movie's sneak peek.

Warner Bros.' move to bring in the "Batman vs. Superman" sneak peek during the "Gotham" midseason finale is very much calculated, to ensure that many fans would be able to see it since many of the fans of "Gotham" would be watching the midseason finale with interest.

There is much speculation as to the content of the sneak peek, as well as its focus. Screen Rant speculates that it would either focus on Lex Luthor, or it could be a focus on how Gotham and Metropolis would be in the coming movie.

Warner Bros. is also careful in bringing out the sneak peek first where it will get its most exposure, and won't likely compete or be compared with how audiences would react to it as people did with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

This awareness seems to be on the back of Warner Bros. mind, as the studio knows that "Batman vs. Superman" would be competing against a very big film, and earlier this year people have already compared the trailers of both films, with many people leaning heavily towards "Star Wars." Warner Bros. this time is making sure that such comparisons are not made.

The midseason finale "Gotham" will be something that fans would want to watch as many would want to see what will James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) would do to save the young Brice Wayne (David Mazouz) and what choices would he make which would affect the future of Gotham.
