Eagles' Mychal Kendricks: 'Redskins got something coming to them

The Eagles are 6-8, but they're somehow in complete control of their playoff fate. As long as the Eagles win their remaining two games, they'll enter the playoffs as the NFC East champs.
That's probably why linebacker Mychal Kendricks didn't seem fazed by the 23-point loss to the Cardinals on Sunday night. Shortly after the loss, Kendrick focused on the team's crucial Week 16 matchup -- a Saturday date with the Redskins, who are also contenders to win the division.
Kendricks also kick-started the trash talk. Again, the following comment came immediately after getting stomped by the Cardinals.
"If I know this team and I know myself and I know the guys in here, man, the Redskins got something coming to them," Kendricks said, per CSN Philly. "For real. And that's real s---. That's all I've got to say."
The last time the Eagles and Redskins met, the Eagles lost by a field goal in Washington. But on Saturday, the game will be played in Philadelphia. The Redskins are 1-5 on the road this season.
Looking at Kirk Cousins' home-away splits, it's easy to see why. And it's why Kendricks and the Eagles defense have a good reason to be excited for the matchup, even if they're ranked 28th in points allowed and 29th in yards allowed.
On the road, Cousins has been a disaster.

For the Redskins, their playoff scenario is simple. If they beat the Eagles on Saturday, they win the division.
